It's All About Probus

Probus General Trading Co. Ltd. was formed some 10 years ago with the specific purpose of publishing a “Probus Magazine” for Probus Club Members.  This was as a result of a demand from Clubs around the country wanting to learn about the activities of other Clubs and extend the friendship between Clubs – (there being no central organisation)

We have now had 39 issues of the “Probus Magazine” sent to Clubs throughout the United Kingdom, Eire, Jersey and other countries.

Magazine costs – as you may well appreciate producing the magazine is becoming more expensive and our only source of income to cover the cost of paper (which is forever increasing) printing and salaries is via advertising income.    We would have liked to give the magazine away free, but with the ever increasing cost of distribution we cannot do this.  
We currently offer the quarterly magazine to Probus Clubs, (in batches of 25 copies) at the very reasonable rate of:-

£7.00 for 25 magazines
£13.00 for up to 100 magazines
£17.00 for more than 100 + magazines                                                         

Increasing Club Membership - Some Clubs take a few copies more for their own advertising purposes – copies for the local library/doctors waiting rooms, etc..    Some are given to member`s friends as part of a recruiting drive when Club membership falls.

The New Website
